Here's what I wrote on his board for Pinterest:

Jaan's Birthday list - his own choice of toys and goodies for a 4 year old

Jaan loves Moshi Monsters, and enjoys setting up "videos" using his small Angry Bird figures and big plush Angry Birds. The stories he loves are the Billy Goat's Gruff, the stories of Beatrix Potter, and the 3 Little Pigs (less so). He likes comics, and Om Nom from 'Cut the Rope'. He's very interested in Space, how his body works, and whether any given location is "still in England" or not. Music-wise he likes 'You don't know you're beautiful' by One Direction and Green Day's 'Love'.

Thank you kind people who generously hand down coats and wellies and hats to us - Jaan has started proper Kindergarten, including Woodland days now, and will be out and about for most of the school day, in all weathers, dressed up against the wind and rain and snow. His fave colours are red, blue and black, mainly red. He's sick of yellow and green (my fave colours!) as I choose them too often - I can spot him easily in yellow! He needs a bunch of things.
